Owner, Kathy Kirchner
In addition to her work with Accessible Home Solutions, LLC, Kathy has provided consultation for hundreds of clients and their caregivers through the Center for Innovative Care in Aging at Johns Hopkins School of Nursing, the D.C. Office on Aging's Safe at Home program, and Habitat for Humanity of Metro Maryland’s CAPABLE (Community Aging in Place Advancing Better Living for Elders) program. She has served clients of all ages and physical and cognitive abilities in their homes through her work and by volunteering for Rebuilding Together Montgomery County. Currently, Kathy is a consultant to Johns Hopkins’ MEMORI Corps.
Kathy holds a BS in Occupational Therapy from Ohio State University, a MA from Xavier University, and an Executive Certificate in Home Modification (ECHM) through the University of Southern California School of Gerontology. She is also a Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS) through the National Association of Home Builders.
